Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Program Incentives and Technical Assistance are still Available

M-CEITA is the go-to resource for providers throughout the state of Michigan in need of Promoting Interoperability (PI) Program support (the PI Program is formerly known as the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program or Meaningful Use).

Your practice will work with an M-CEITA representative to achieve PI requirements for Stage 3 of the Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Program. Our team can help your practice navigate the complexities of meeting each measure and serve as a liaison for any vendor or attestation issues. Our Client Services Managers will perform a PI gap analysis, help explain eligibility volume requirements, answer program questions, help with Clinical Quality Measure (CQM) selection, assist with public health reporting requirements, provide patient portal engagement guidance and walk you through the attestation process. Additionally, our service includes conducting a Security Risk Analysis with recommendations for corrective actions, as necessary.

It’s not too late to receive technical assistance from our program and continue or re-engage with the Medicaid PI Program. Providers who have successfully attested to at least one year of program participation prior to 2017 and have not yet received 6 incentive payments may be eligible to continue participation and receive incentives of $8,500 per year through 2021.

Please see the M-CEITA MU/PI fact sheet for more information.
