Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Program Incentives and Technical Assistance Are Still Available

M-CEITA is Michigan’s go-to resource for providers participating in the Promoting Interoperability (PI) Program (formerly known as the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program or Meaningful Use).

Practices that work with M-CEITA receive support to successfully achieve the requirements of Stage 3 of the Medicaid PI Program. Our team will help your practice navigate the complexities of program participation, starting with the basics of understanding provider eligibility and ending with successful attestation, and everything in between. Our services include PI objectives education, report gap analysis, workflow implementation, provider and patient engagement strategies, public health integration guidance, and completion of a Security Risk Analysis, all while acting as a liaison with your vendor and the State of Michigan.

It’s not too late to receive technical assistance from M-CEITA and continue with the Medicaid PI Program. Providers who have successfully attested to at least one year of participation prior to 2017, and have not yet received 6 incentive payments, may be eligible to participate and receive incentives of $8,500 per year through 2021.

Please see the M-CEITA MU/PI fact sheet for more information.
